Escalade Sports is recalling about 4,600 outdoor playsets after receiving 24 reports of the swing seats breaking during use. No injuries have been reported, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall affects four models of Oasis Playsets: PG01W, PG02W, PG03W and PG04W. The model numbers are located on a plate on the swing’s horizontal beam.

The green plastic seats, about 26 inches long with rounded edges, can crack and break in half, causing a child to fall to the ground. The seats have black plastic grommets and are hung from green, plastic-coated chains.

The recalled playsets were sold at Oasis distributors nationwide from April 2008 to December 2010 for $1,500 – $2,000.

Consumers should not allow children to use the swings on these playsets until replacement seats have been obtained by Escalade Sports of Evansville, Indiana. Contact Escalade at 1-800-742-6009 for free replacement seats.
